Tashabek

Tashabek is actually my second troll. My first go at playing a warlock, she hasn't seen much game time, yet. She's intended to be a bit darker and a lot more serious than some of my other characters (most of my other characters). I'm still developing her backstory, thus there will probably be edits to this bio in the future.

Tashabek is a Darkspear troll, though she was raised outside of troll society for several years of her childhood. She is the daughter of a voodoo priest and priestess, neither of whom took well to the new Horde's requirement that they abandon voodoo and cannibalism. Tashabek was, in truth, an accident, but her parents thought they could raise her to be a powerful voodoo priestess in her own right, and could perhaps take revenge on members of the Horde who had tried to end their lifestyle.

Instead, Tashabek's parents were discovered and imprisoned when Tashabek was close to reaching puberty. She was taken to Sen'jin village and raised by a former voodoo priestess, who continued to teach Tasha voodoo in secret. Her new teacher, however, was unlike her parents in that she did not intend Tasha to use the voodoo malevolently. The only reason she taught it to her at all was because Tasha had already learned some of it, and had the potential to harm herself if her training was not completed.

When Tasha had substantial enough training, the woman ceased her education.

Tasha spent much of her childhood and early adulthood feeling like an outsider in the village, shunned because of her parents lifestyle and because of what she knew. She took to studying demonology, and became one of the young up and coming warlocks when trolls began to master that particular branch of magic. Tasha never became particularly social, and an odd increase in disappearances of people who get too close to her has led to many avoiding her at all costs. Whether she is murdering people or the disappearances are simply coincidence is subject to speculation, but Tasha certainly isn't telling.

When the shaman Ja'kooli encountered her, using a voodoo trick to lure her imp into the jungle brush on the islands, he decided to take her up as his new apprentice. Having lost his former to druidism, Tashabek proved to be just the person he needed under his wing. Her affinity with voodoo and demonology made her a prime candidate, to say the least.

She joined the Mistreavers with Ja'kooli, but has not made ties to any particular host.

Tasha spends most of her time working with Ja'kooli or out on her own. Her parents are still alive, somewhere out in the world. Only Tasha is certain of their location anymore.

Disappearances continue to occur in areas where Tasha happens to be, but it is still unclear if she is the source of the disappearances or not.
