My goblin warrior, and combat engineer of sorts for the Green Ops. Laynee is still undergoing development, but here is the bare bones of her life and times!
Laynee Gallytink, Tink to her friends, is strange for a goblin. She has a thread of common sense that tends to be stronger than a large portion of her race. While she - like any good goblin- loves coin and explosions (and spending coin and engineering crazy things), she also has a fairly shrewd mind when it comes to those same engineered items, showing a surprising amount of attention to her projects...which leads to less being-blown-up and more successful inventions that tend to be highly useful.
The daughter of a baron, Tink has always been a member of the middle to upper class. She doesn't have quite the same mindset, though, as she doesn't seem to mind getting dirty or hurt. She's not a social butterfly, which led to her not fitting in too well with the society her father and mother rubbed elbows with.
She has a severe hatred for Gallywix, and a great love and respect for Boss Mida, and has often been known to sing Boss Mida's praises whenever the topic of Bilgewater Cartel leadership is brought up.
When the volcano on Kezan errupted, Tink escaped on Gallywix's yacht. Her father and mother were already off the island, setting up residence, at least temporarily, in Gadgetzan. When Tink reached Bilgewater harbor, she intended to set out and make a name for herself and become independent of her parents. Instead she discovered her father had made an arranged marriage for her, and the paperwork had survived Kezan's destruction. It was also completely sound with no wiggle room.
In short, she couldn't get out of it. Even if she could afford a good lawyer, she knew the paperwork was sealed up tight, six-ways to Outland and back. Her father knew more about closing loopholes than any lawyer she'd ever met. She met her betrothed, Glix Coppercog, in Bilgewater Harbor under the most unusual of circumstances. His pet monkey stole her necklace, and it was only after chasing the monkey down that they realized they were one another's betrothed.
Resigned to their fate, the two have taken up residence in an attempt to get to know and come to like each other. Upon being married, Tink became a member of the operative team Glix was a member of, the Green Ops for the Mistreavers.
Since joining Mistreavers, Tink has been quite busy building new weapons and other projects for the team. She works mostly in private in a workship in the Harbor, and rarely joins up with the larger host unless necessary.
