Cairienn Dawnracer

Cairienn is the youngest of the Dawnracer sisters. While never quite as troublesome as Saeyira, she was never the angel Altyra tended to be, either. In some regards, Cairienn took after Illia, developing an interest in fashion and high society. Her interests were less serious than Illia's, though. Cairienn tended to use her interest in frivolous things to learn important information. After all, no one expects the vapid, shallow little girl to be paying sharp attention to the serious discussions at hand.

When Saeyira disappeared with Laneus, Cairienn alone kept contact with her. Cairienn believed Saeyira made the right decision, and frequently defended her elder sister in arguments with Kyrian and Altyra.

When the family moved to Silvermoon, and Altyra left to join the Farstriders, Cairienn was left to the tender care of their dear mother, who promptly tried to educate Cairienn in the ways of Silvermoon's elite. Illia desired nothing more than to get Cairienn married off to a wealthy official so that she could live a life of luxury. The plan backfired.

Cairienn became fed up with her mother and promptly left home to join an order of holy knights established in Silvermoon. She took up residence at the soldiers' barracks for the duration of her training. In training, she excelled in tactics and wargames, and began to rise quickly through the ranks of initiates. Terrified of being given subordinates and put in charge of others' lives, Cairienn quickly fell into her defense mechanism: acting like a dumb bimbo. Her trainers were baffled.

Even after the Scourge invasion, Cairienn has maintained her "vapid child" routine. With Saeyira and Azrikk's expulsion from Silvermoon, Cairienn also found herself barred. Because she no longer has to worry about higher ups putting people's lives in her hands, she has begun to let the childish act fall away...for the most part. She still enjoys acting the dumb girl when she knows it may get her something, or get her out of something.
